Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- California licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience in school-based OT settings preferred
- Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Compassion for student-centered therapy and educational support
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of preschool through 8th grade students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Support students in achieving educational goals by addressing fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
