Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- School-based therapy experience or strong interest in school settings
- Familiarity with addressing fine motor and gross motor skill development
- Experience working with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive OT services to students, including assessments and individualized interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, COTAs, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
- Support elementary-age students in reaching motor skill milestones
- Address a range of needs, from organization and focus to handwriting and physical access
- Maintain accurate documentation and ongoing progress notes
- Take part in school meetings and professional development opportunities
