Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials for school-based practice
- Experience supporting fine and gross motor skill development in students
- Background in delivering occupational therapy in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Adaptability and passion for working with diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative OT services within the school environment
- Collaborate with teaching staff, other therapists, and families to support student success
- Document therapy sessions and progress; participate in IEP meetings
- Support students in achieving fine and gross motor milestones essential for classroom participation
