Occupational Therapist School Setting in Hartford, CT

Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Connecticut required
- Previous OT experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday, totaling 36 hours per week
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Proven commitment to supporting student development and educational goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to a caseload of 24–30 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and implement interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills crucial for their educational success
