Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Maryland
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but open to early-career professionals with strong pediatric or educational backgrounds
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Strong communication skills and a passion for fostering student growth and independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services to a diverse caseload of students, following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Assess, plan, and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to promote student access and success in the classroom
- Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate strategies that enhance students’ participation in school activities
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
