Two positions are available, both offering a full-time schedule and the chance to work closely with educational professionals and families to foster student growth. Start making a difference on August 10th, 2026, with the school year concluding June 17th, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Maryland
- Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong collaborative skills to partner with educators, families, and other professionals
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing student needs
- Comprehensive knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students as outlined in their IEPs
- Manage caseload across designated schools on the south end of the county
- Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and families to facilitate student participation and access to educational environments
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support students’ physical, social, and academic development
