An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Occupational Therapists to provide essential services for students in a supportive school setting on the south end of the county. This contract role runs from August 10, 2026, to June 17, 2027, and offers full-time hours within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license for the state of Maryland
- Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and support a diverse caseload of students
- Detail-oriented with a flexible and proactive attitude
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and participation
- Develop and update treatment plans tailored to individual goals and progress
- Maintain clear, timely records and documentation in compliance with school and state policies
- Offer guidance and training as needed to educational staff on OT-related strategies and accommodations
