School Occupational Therapist - Mechanicsville, Maryland

In this role, you’ll focus on delivering high-quality OT services within a collaborative educational setting. The district is seeking two dedicated Occupational Therapists for positions in the southern end of the county. Your work will begin at the start of the school year on August 10th, 2026, and conclude on June 17th, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Possession of an active Maryland Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to develop student-centered plans
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing direct OT services to students based on IEP goals and recommendations
- Assessing student abilities and needs through evaluation and ongoing monitoring
- Developing individualized treatment plans and documenting progress
- Consulting and collaborating with educational teams to support classroom success
- Maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to school-based therapy services
