Two full-time Occupational Therapy positions are available for the school year, serving students on the south end of the county. This opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise to help students achieve their fullest potential while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and specialists.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) License required
- Prior experience providing school-based OT services is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Dedication to creating individualized, student-centered intervention plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to IEP development and goal setting
- Document progress, maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, and communicate regularly with staff and families
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents to promote students’ independence and participation in the school environment
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
Assignment Details:
- Two openings, both on the South End of the county
- Contract term from August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027
- Full-time schedule during school hours
