Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy services to a diverse student population, addressing IEP/504 goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions within designated school settings
- Consult with teachers, families, and other educational staff to promote student engagement, independence, and academic success
- Document therapy sessions, complete progress notes, and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and ongoing professional development initiatives
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License (OT) required
- Previous experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload for grades PreK-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with educators, administrators, and families
- A passion for supporting students’ functional and academic growth in a school environment
