Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Capacity to manage a full caseload within a school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability, resourcefulness, and a student-centered approach
- New graduates with pediatric experience and seasoned OTs encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT interventions and support for students ranging in needs
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans; monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and compliance with school and district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Empower students to achieve increased independence and success in the school environment
