Schedule/Hours:
- Choice of guaranteed or non-guaranteed weekly hours
- Possibility of weekend coverage
- Flexibility required for occasional travel outside primary territory
Key Qualifications:
- Current California Occupational Therapist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and auto registration
- Up-to-date TB, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), Flu (annual), drug screen, and physical
- Home health experience is a plus, but not required—new graduates are encouraged to apply!
You Will:
- Provide occupational therapy services in patients’ homes across Hayward and nearby cities
- Complete evaluations, plan care, perform treatments, and manage patient documentation (including OASIS visits)
- Ensure productivity and caseload expectations are met, with structured support
- Adapt to changing needs, including seeing COVID+ or PUI patients, if needed
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
